is there any way to stop gs rom building the database on first run?
it hangs my computer, maybe because i\'m trying to run it on a machine that has thousands of wav files used in my sonar projects.

You can tell GS to just re-index certain directories, that way it doesn\'t have to go through your Sonar project files. I think it\'s under Advanced setup.

Also, what I do is I have a subdirectory where I copy all GS samples (of course, further organized into subdirectories).
