Will it hurt to set the Midi User Data >Tempo: HP (Incorporate Data) when using GPO and Finale 2005b?

The tutorial on using GPO and Finale <http://www.garritan.com/tutorial/HumanPlayback_Tutorial.html> states that the Midi User Data should be set to Tempo: No HP Effect.
Only problem, this stops the Rallentanto (ritard) from working during computer playback. As soon as I change it to Tempo: HP (Incorporate Data) it works as it should.

Thanks

Jim,

That screen shot in the human playback tutorial doesn't mean that you should use those specific settings for all files. I think that all it does is illustrate that you can combine and mix the parameters.
(you don't have to set everything to incorporate, or everything to ignore)

Select the parameters which you want to use or ignore on a case by case basis.

Jeff is right, just set the options that fit your needs best. Sorry for the confusing screenshot!

I believe "Incorporate" will work fine in most cases.
