It has been fun doing prizes for every thousand posts, but we cannot continue this. 1000 post milestones are coming more quickly and frequently. Also, this was done primarily for fun and as a goodwill gesture for GPO users. Lately some who are not GPO users have posted and then demanded prizes when none were offered. So it is best to offer prizes for certain milestones rather than automatically.

The next milestone is the 55,555th post which should be coming very soon. For that one I will offer a jazz big band library when it is released.
