Please....

I lost my "tempo calculator". I know it comes with one of my software's but I forget which one? Do any of you remember which app has it? I thought it was Stylus???

(*BTW -- I now I can "just do the math"... but I'd like to get the calculator back on my desktop, I hate doing math in the middle of writing music. )

So I'm just trying to figure out what software it's in to just load the "tempo calculator" quickly...

PS ... I wanna put it on the OSX box (not PC)

Thanks!

I'm not sure about a standalone one - but most sequencers have one built in. SX does and I'm pretty sure I remember one in Cakewalk from my "Home Studio" days many many years ago. Depending on which sequencer you're using - it may have one.

I'm on DP4.5... (almost positive it doesn't have one?!?)

But I sync a lot of stuff outside the computer.... from my Digi board and hardware....

Thanks

Ok crisis averted...

Found one for OSX on-line at ----> http://download.zicos.com/news.php/n/55187

I'm still curious what app I was thinking of???

I know there are some better calculators out there that do more than BPM/Temo. Anyone know of one off hand?

dp has a great tempo calculator as part of the "change tempo" function i believe.

it lets you enter smpte times and calculate exactly what tempo will hit when and where. it also lets you account for accelerandi and ritards (speeding up and slowing down).

great stuff imho.

I recall it was available at Steiberg's FTP site and supposed to be used with VST 5.X.
