Well, since the 'off topic general discussion' forum is closed, I will continue my thread here, since this seems to be a very popular forum and I know a lot of you around here.
The origional thread can be viewed here:

Any more additional advice would be appreciated.
And a reply to the last post on there:
It means to follow your heart, your calling, what you were born to do.
I see what you mean now!

Of all the statements I can type... one comes to mind above the rest. Speaking as a 37 year old male : The longer you go after your dream, the more people you'll run into (who gave up their dreams). They will see your hope still vibrant, and they will subtly mock you for still persuing it. Reassuring themselves that they were right in (giving-up) when they did so. The weaker creative vessel will fall and persue after a more common career path; Consciously or unconsciously heeding the advice given by their jealous antagonizers. While the next madonna, britney or christina wear an even more revealing outfit on-yer-mtv' to further the challenge to your sanity in going after your calling.

WOW!
BIG words!
So basicly what your saying is that people who gave up their dreams will mock me for persuing mine?
Are you trying to tell me to ignore such people or listen to those people?

IGNORE THEM!!
Mean while, remember that there is a thin line between "keeping your chin up" and "sticking your neck out" .... http://www.northernsounds.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif
