Good mic pre

Can anyone out there recommend a good mic pre for under $500 to warm up vocals without alot of added noise? Thanks.

Presonus makes a great one. It is made just for vocals and includes a preamp,compressor with presets, deesser, eq, and peak limiter. Check it out.
