Kontakt 2 compatibility with Kontakt 1 (?)

Am I to understand that files made with Kontakt 1 will load into Kontakt 2 (in my sequencer) and be completely compatible without my having to go through a lot of contortions and fiddling with settings to make them work?

I doubt that would be a problem...some complex K2 nki.`s into K1.53 might be a problem if K1.5 cant filter out the incompatable moduals form K2..
