No, I am just amazed at the civility on this forum. I don't have much time to go poking around on other forums, but this afternoon I spent about half an hour on another forum. It was only about 5 minutes into this little venture that I was reading the most intense flame war that could be imagined. If these were not real people, the hateful words would have made almost good comedy. It was so sad, and it was all over so little. When I see behavior like that, I realize why we have wars. If these guys were anywhere near each other, I think there would have been bloodshed. It just spoiled what I was hoping would be a pleasant and rewarding experience.

I just want to take the time to thank all of you who make this such a great place around which to hang.

Seriously, this forum is a pleasure, compared to most I know. Sure, I've seen some fairly heated debate and impassioned comment at times -- but the civility and respect remains, regardless.

Maybe musicians should be running the planet? There'd probably be a whole lot less fighting -- not to mention that things might sound a lot better, to boot.
