There a lot of Great Harp Cd's out there that just focus on the harp but is there any Koto Harp Cd's. I still think the samples i have aren't realistic enough. Let's see I have Koto Harp on the expansion board "yes Asia" Roland XP-80, Koto Harp in Sampletank2, Koto Harp in Emu world instruments, I think that's all of them. Still there just not good enough. Is there a Sample Libraries out there with the Koto Harp? Ethno World does not have a Koto Harp. have i posted this before? :D

well I bought that koto harp on Wizoo and it's ok it's has a softer attack for the price it's good. I dont' think it's as good as the one I have with world instruments though. Damn RA probably has the best Koto harp and it's 1000 dollars(of course you get everything under the sun for ethnic instruments and percussion)

Any other good Koto's? $1000 is steep for just one instrument.

nothing I have ran into and that Wizoo isn't the best, do able yea but not great. I have a better Koto from I believe Emu World Instruments? it has fx, combo, and other playing styles, so just do layering and it can sound pretty realistic. One thing I want though is like the harp libraries I have and that is the vibration of the strings and hearing this, both Harp Libraris I have do this sound totally authentic, damn they sound amaizng(X samples, Garriatan's Harp) But I haven't found a Koto that has that. RA probably has the Best Koto Harp.
back to music.

the cheapest alternative I could think of is Ethno World2 Giga, it's not a Koto Harp on that DVD collection but that chinese harp is very simular, actually sounds a little brighter I think. Ethno World 2 goes for 300 dollars. Beyond that...yea someone should have made an awesome koto sample cd or something. I am going to have to bust my ~~~ to get a Koto Player and the studio time somewhere just to have Authentic Koto Harp....grrrr....Better off buying Ethno World 2 or going Crazy and getting the ultimate RA. Shakuhachi I am set there I have World Instuments, damn why didn't that guy do one with Koto Harp I bet it would have been bad ~~~, actuallY I'll look into it and see if he has something like Cambell guy.

Duh!! World Traveler Akai Cd has the Koto Harp on it and the Shakuhachi, I don't know how good it is though, maybe I can hear a Sample if I bug Sonic Reality on KVR.
Ok there is another Sample Library that has the Koto Harp.

Not exactly Koto, but I recently saw that Big Fish has a Shamisen CD w/loops (including REX files) for $29.95 that's mighty tempting at that price...

This is the only demo I was able to locate. You might be much better of getting Ethno World 2. It also has a great Santoor.

I don`t know if this will help.
Its in Wav, Rex & Acid format so I think you`ll need
alot of editing to do. Also, I don`t know about the quality of the
samples. I think theres a demo .
Shamisen (not Koto)

I think these two have a Koto in them. But the second one
is looped. I don`t know about the first one. You should ask them.

your right man I really do want RA only it's 1000 dollars and I think I am only missing some instruments for China I have Silk Road by Sonic Implants so I have a lot of Turkish Instuments, I just don't have a good Chinese /japanese harp because there isn't one, except RA and Ethno World 2. I think I'll probably go with Ethno World 2.

RA probably has the only and best Japanese Koto Harp, beyond that there aren't any others~! Nothing nowhere nobody has done a great sampling of this instrument in all the damn Libraries. I can't believe it.
So the best one that i have is from EMU world insturments modual thing.
just don't hear any vibrating strings when the string is plucked the resonce from the strings :(

If Herman want's to do it I'm game. he just has to let me know. Hopefully it's a fully tuned Koto Harp. I am really disapointed with a lot of ethnic Libraries I can't believe how the Japanese Koto Harp has been neglected. Are they morons or something? Don't they see that the Koto Harp is still super popular and useful in Japan for japanese films? Anywayz it's up to Herman.

If I place a maximum bid, will I be able to bid again?

Originally the Koto came from China so it's all good. I told Herman that no way should he let people download this for free when he finishes it. I also think he should start having only the newest libraries on his page and the older ones you buy on cd (Hey have to make money at your hard work)
Hope the Koto Harp turns out great@! :D
