Problem is access times, which are NOT improved by raid. Add to that the typical raid problems, and there is littel room for raid in gigaDAWs.

I have a question for anybody out there.

I know Gigastudio needs a fast drive. What about a ide raid solutions made by promise tech. They claim performances faster than Ultra2 SCSI or Ultra ATA/100 solutions.
