I am having a new system built for Gigastudio 3 and Sonar 4. I will be using an RME HDSP 9632 soundcard with the optional XLR breakout cables. I will have a Shure SM58 mic and an inexpensive preamp (most likely a behringer mic100). I would like to know how to set up the system so that I can record my voice in gigastudio while using Gigapulse. Any suggestions for setup would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Well, you can't record into Gigastudio 3 of course, but I think there is a way, if you have gsif2 drivers for your card, to record through Gigastudio into Sonar.

I haven't tried this, but off the top of my head (well I'd read the GS manual first) I'd go from Soundcard > GS 3 + Gigapulse > rewire into Sonar. You have to enable the audio input in the GS settings. Sorry I can't be more helpful. It may take some experimentation on your part or advice from someone who has done this.
