Well, my friend plays double bass in the GMU student orchestra and is lucky enough to get to go home tomorrow morning (I have two exams on Monday I gotta stick around for :( ). Anyway, he was picking up his bass to take home, so I quickly wrote a short Adagio for it and begged him to play. And so he did!
Now, this piece for bass has some high notes, and he was sight reading it, so it's a pretty bad rendetion. :D You'll hear him mess up, laugh, talk to himself, and take little breaks. Finally, at the end, it remains unfinished as someone knocks at the door and we are beckoned away to other activities . . . but I did manage to slip the notation into the pocket of his bass case before he left. :D Enjoy!
