Is there a way to have a blank bar (without rests) in Overture SE? I've tried everything to make Overtrue leave a bar blank without rests, but it will put a whole rest in the bar if there aren't any notes in that bar. Overtrue won't let me get rid of the whoel rest. Does anyone know of a method to get the rest out so I can have just a plain blank bar of nothing.

I have music composed in Overture and I want to print it out with bars below what I have so I can pencil in the remaining notes, but that whole rests get in the way. Any info is appreciated!

Hi - have you tried Options>Show>Filled Measure Rests - I think that should do it?

Can't answer your question specifically, but there is an Overture forum at Geniesoft.com. If someone on this board can't help, I'm sure they can over there.

Thank you Tramore! Unchecking Options>Show>Filled Measure Rests did the trick, thank you for the helpful info.
