Building a video computer

Hi,

I know this isn\'t the right forum but maybe some of you can point me in a website direction.

I want to purchase a computer for video editing.
Do you know of how I can obtain such info.?

I will buy a digital camcorder and will make promo videos to be edited. So, Im trying to gather info on specs for this type of computer.
