is there such a thing a book on composing for chiors? I would recommend studying Bach even just studying his Chorales which make up the beginning of Commen practice harmony is a great study resource for voicing parts(harmonized Hymms). Then I would get the actual scores that are a cappella. I still think Bach's St. Johns Passion is an amazing Choral piece even to this day ;) But I wouldn't limit myself to just that style of voicing for parts of the Chior or harmony(hey this is the 20th century) and the Chior can be a effect in the orchestra as well as an ensemble etc...Just remember voicing is really important. Sorry don't know any recourses anyone else?
