Kontakt 2.0.2 Update

The update locked out some registered libraries for me. Can anyone duplicate?

EWQLSO Gold
Percussive Adventures 2 LE
Bösendorfer 290

These still work in their own player's and Kontakt 1.5.3. Other libraries from EW, QL, and Zero-G load fine.

Someone else reported a similar to same problem on the east west forums. . . I haven't yet installed 2.0.2 to confirm. (I don't have the percussive adventures set, but I do have nearly everything else.)

Does double clicking the aux buses cause the new Kontakt 2.0.2 to crash on your end?

NIce Update i have to say !!!

1st time ive been able to see the fonts clearly and it seems the DFD has improved on my end..I quite literally was smashing and holding large chord clusters with my elbow and holding down the sustain pedal with a large piano Lib. and there were no clicks or drop outs...1st Time!!

I have just updated from Kontakt 2.0.1 to 2.0.2 and have not had any problems loading any libraries.

I have successfully loaded the following:-

Hardcore Bass
Leap Stormdrum

NI Elektrik Piano
NI Intakt Library
NI Kontakt 1.5 Library

Still doesn't fix the GPO noise problem.

All other libraries seem to work fine.

So far, no lock-outs.

I must be doing something WRONG with regard to changing the size of the VST window. One would ASSUME that the vertical bar separating the Browser from the rest would be sizable -- otherwise you've really got a lot of wasted space.

Is it still a bug?

After reading all the problems associated with the Kontakt-2 revision I was very reluctant to apply it but yeasterday I ran into some real problems with notes getting stuck that I couldn't fix so I went ahead and did it.

Since then no more stuck notes. I also haven't had any problem loading any Gold instruments or Kontact-2 library instruments or even any of my own.

Got my fingers crossed. :)

What latency are you getting? I really like to limit it to 3ms in Cubase.

I have the same problem: 2.0.2 cannot load EWQLSO Stormdrum or EWQL Silver Orchestra. I tried to un-install and re-intall a number of times, either bypassing 2.0.1 stage or not- it made no difference. BTW: Kontakt 2.0.1 is fine.

Any known fix for this, please?

i was aware that in the first k2 version there was a bug with the kewyswitch zones.
i tried the demo and i was not able to properly import some custom k1 with keyswitch in k2.
is the problem solved in the new release?

i'm thinking about buying, but i use a lot the keyswitch, so i'd lke to be sure that all is working properly...

Hey Ben,

Where did you get your update for Kontakt? The "Complete" deal? Because, For some reason it seems that only those folks are the ones getting the Kompakt player libraries to work in this newest 2.02 update of Kontakt. The regular place to get the updates, seem to be the one having the problem with getting these libraried to work.

Just wondering if this thought holds any water.

My Kontakt 2.0.2 update is nothing to do with "Komplete". I bought the upgrade from 1.5, installed 2.0.1 over the top and then installed 2.0.2 over the top of that.

I got my K2 through Komplete Care 2005. I wound up having to re-authorize the libraries that weren't working for me. Everything works again now.
