MOTU 828 version1

Hi,

I can't seem to find this info, if someone knows for sure, that would be great.
I just installed giga and the interface is not showing up properly. So before I fiddle, does anyone know if a motu828 will work properly with giga (not using rewire)?

In the tascam compatibility files it shows it as being gsif1 compatible. In MOTUs website when i downloaded new drivers, I see gsif2.2...but for what interface I don't know, as it's a bundle of drivers for all FW interfaces.

Anyone know for sure?

I use MOTU 828 without Rewire. It works very well. However, nothing shows up until your computer hooks up with the 828 and you add the hardware at that point. It took me a few tries.

thanks....after I launched giga and not bother with the config, it showed right up.
