Is the Audiophile 2496 GCIF compatible ???

just got Gigastudio 160 today and the Midiman Audiphile 2496...Nemesys says it\'s GSIF compatible but for some reason it says
within the Giga160 app ( right above the hardware panel ) that is not a GSIF compatible ....is this true or just a bug with the software..i

Yea, I got the same message with a brand new card and driver. I wonder if there is an updated driver to make this compatible. anybody have the answer?

I also got the same thing with the newest drivers.

If you go to the DSP settings page you will note that there, GigaStudio reports that the Audiophile 2496 IS compatible.

I have called Tascam about this and they are checking on it for me. I will let you know what they report.

I\'m using the Audiophile with these drivers: http://www.midiman.net/support/drivers/del22.38.EXE (\"http://www.midiman.net/support/drivers/del22.38.EXE\") and Gigastudio sees it just fine.

I received a response from Tascam about this problem.

They said that they could reproduce the problem and told me that it is a cosmetic bug and will not effect the use of GigaStudio. They said that the bug would be fixed in V2.5 of GigaStudio.

The Audiophile card is GSIF compatable as advertised.
