What do you folks use for FX processing with GS? Is it possible to use any VST real-time effects with GS, or do I have to send a signal outside of the computer?

yeah u can use vst effects first get a audiocard with alot of inputs and outputs with direct monitoring, and multiclient support (or get two audiocards) get the latency as low as possible. In gigasampler set each output to a different midi channel, route cables from the outputs to the inputs then turn on direct monitoring in cubase apply effects to the audio channels u want and your done.
