Ok, I sold my Fatar SL880 and QS8 because having weighted keys just kills my hands. (I\'m a guitarist. http://www.northernsounds.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif ) Are there any 88 key keyboards with synth-style action?

I\'m also looking for a keyboard such as this. I recently checked out a kurzweil 88, but hated the \"semi-weighted\" feel. The keys sprang back too quickly.

Been meaning to ask this myself http://www.northernsounds.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif

I\'m sure alot of people in the sampler/sequencing world would appreciate a keyboard like this, unfortunately the keyboard makers think, \"If it has 88 notes it\'s gotta feel like a real piano\", which is about the only instrument of the other hundreds out there now that it works for.

SOD,
I tried, but couldn\'t find a controller that meets your requirements. I ended up with the SL-1100. I\'m getting used to it, but it is difficult at times.

I also find that when I go back to my guitar I feel a little heavier on my left hand...

Cheers,
Mark

The problem with weighted keys is the weight. For sequencing they\'re just too heavy to play fast loud passages.

Yamaha KX76. Still the best, tho \"only\" 76 keys. Find it used.
