Anyone have any experience in on line study courses? I did a search and came up with http://www.musicianuniversity.com/courses/jazz_piano_basics.html Looks interesting. However, I've never taken an on line course and was wondering.
Thanks.

I don't have any experience with this, but somebody must. Looks like an interesting place, and at $27 to be an online college bum for a year, it might be worth a shot, even if it's little more than buying a virtual babysitter/enforcer so you can say: "Can't go out tonight, I've got to do my Jazz homework!"

The audio engineering courses, and the advanced music theory course look kind of inviting, too. Would there be any advantages to- say- just getting an interactive DVD? Anyone with any thoughts about online music classes?

They offer a one year "limited" trial version as well.

I did a course a few years back with the Berkely School of Music (a good address) it wasn´t expensive and it was very good!
