For building a new PC at the moment, dedicated to some sampling, but lots of sequencing/audio and other stuff, is the nVidia nForce2 a good and stable choice?

If so, which one to get?

If not, then what...? images/icons/smile.gif

Maarten<font size=\"2\" face=\"Verdana, Arial\">We\'ve had plenty of problems with the NForce chipset here at work (computer builder/repair shop), I\'ve had luck with Via chipsets for AMD, but decided to go with Intel chipsets and an Intel CPU for my audio machines this time around. Intel\'s got a sweet price on the 2.4GHZ 533 bus CPU right now, coupled with DDR, you can get blazing performance for not a lot of cash outlay.

Maarten,

I just got the ASUS A7N266-C last night, I\'ll keep you posted how it goes, once I\'m up and runing. images/icons/smile.gif

Maarten,

So far the board ROCKS!
I\'m recording 5 stereo streams from giga while it\'s playing 150 poly, in real time, in SONAR on same machine! no glitches, sounds great!
Using Luna 2 under XP...
If it stay\'s this way this motherboard is way too good:)
