Disk Streaming - Partition or not???

Two 80 GIG ATA HDs. Does streaming samples off the hard drive work better when the drives are partitioned (i.e. eight 10 GIG partitions per HD) or does streaming work better with no partitions???

Partitions have no effect on streaming, they\'re just inconvenient.
