Hi,

My problem is not relied directly with Giga but I am hopeless with midiman support.

This what I am using

>>computer: HP
>>model: HP 7935
>>chipset: ??
>>cpu type: AMD 1300 MHz 686
>>ram: 640
>>soundcard: Audiophile 2496
>>os: Window XP

How can I find which chipset is installed on my computer ? right on the motherboard ?

When I record in midi on a channel measures, with
Home studio 2002 or Digital Orchestrator Pro, all my notes are compressed in the first measure at 1:00:00.

Oddly with the same setup this problem is not encountered with PowerTrack Pro.

Thank you.

That\'d be a dead giveaway. It either has the Via KT133 or KT133A chipset on it. I\'m pretty sure that it\'s a KT133. I fix those computers all the time. Definitely not something I\'d use for audio. images/icons/smile.gif

Hmm, I have a VIA A7V133. Audio plays just fine, but when I record, the audio has pops & skips in it. I can\'t just get a new motherboard.. I think that M-Audio should address the issue. What should I do ?

Thank you it\'s an Asus VIA KL/KM133

In system information in conflicts/sharing window I found this :

Could it have an impact on my Audiophile 2496 (which, by the way, is installed on IRQ 18) ?

I ran the KT133A chipset for a while with Echo Audio cards, Giga ran great. I\'m having problems with the new KT333 chipset and the Terratec DMX 6Fire card, I just built a Intel 845 chipset machine to replace it. I\'ll find out this weekend if that works.
