"File Open Error" trying to accelerate samples

Does anyone else have this problem? I'm trying to convert samples into the 16 bit accelerated format and I get "File Open Error" on all samples it tries to convert. Is this a bug in Gigastudio or is something wrong with my system? I'm using version 3.12/Windows XP Pro SP2.

Uninstall - Reinstall - Patch directly to 3.12. Fixed it for me anyway, seems odd that somehow incrementally patching through the updates would cause the problem but it would appear so....Give it a shot anyway.

Thanks, Ash. Your suggestion worked. Yes, it is odd that incremental updating could break something. I'm glad I posted the question on this forum because I have yet to hear back from Tascam. I even got an email auto-reply with a tech-support case number. Anyway, thanks again!
