Modulation Wheel Won't Stick in Kontakt

Hello all. I set the mod wheel of the Kontakt player to the middle position for each of my tracks in Logic Pro. Every time I load the song, the mod wheel of the Kontakt player on each track reverts to a down position.

I've tried saving the settings for each instrument but this had no effect on the position of the mod wheel.

Is there any way I can get it to stay in the center so that I don't have to move the wheel on each track every time I load the song?

The mod wheel on the Kontakt player is basically there for graphics only. You need to put modulation data (CC#1) into your midi track itself.

Thanks, Jeff. That makes sense. I guess what I've been doing when I spin up the mod wheel on the Kontakt player during playback is change the mod data but I'm not recording that data - just playing it - so each time I start the song, it's gone.
