ours! Wind gust up to 60 - 70 miles an hour with lake effect snow, power outages, and no buses running, all of the Western New York Schools are closed except, this one. We have on campus students who live here all year until they shape up or ship out! Day students are bused in from other local schools but those schools are closed and no buses are running. So, we is open Sam! It is nasty outside!
I know, who cares right? I WANTED TO STAY IN BED ALL DAY! IT AINT FAIR ALL MY KIDS ARE HOME AND I AM HERE!
Wait a minute! I'm here and they are home ... maybe I am better off. :D Still, it would have been nicer to stay home in me studio and woiking on a score, yes?

Happens all the time here in good ol' New Hampshire too - it seems the folks in our community must be more rugged fellas and lasses than the rest of the area.

We had howling winds last night also, bu lake effect is not hitting us. As a matter of fact, the sun just came out.:D "Ohio, beautiful Ohio", except the northeast corner where I'm at at it's "Ohio. cloudy Ohio".

Yeah and you get that once in a lifetime or more. Matter of fact wasn't that a record or something? Anyway, we see that in the snow belt on a regular basis. Just ask Styxx. He's in a better alignment for lake effect than we in NE Ohio!

Indeed! That lamp and those wooden railing fence things give it a really nice touch and the color is nice and calming :)

We're having a cold snap here in Phoenix today. It's only getting to around 65F. We haven't had any rain in 121 days!! Arizona is a little on the dry side and we are already seeing fires months before the fire season.
