WFIU just posted its March program guide (http://www.indiana.edu/~wfiu/artmar_2006.htm) online. My CD is still on (click on the link and scroll down to "new releases"), but the schedule has changed since my earlier post. Here's the revised schedule as it appears in the program guide.
Daniel Powers: Spring and Fall (Swan's Wing Press)
Sarah Stone, ms.; Daniel Powers, vln.; Vanessa Gong, hp.; Martha Krasnican, p.
" Reading Issa: Wednesday, March 8th, 7:07 p.m.
" Chorale and Scherzino: Monday, March 20th, 7:07 p.m.
" Three Songs: Thursday, March, 30th, 7:07 p.m.
Another resident of Terre Haute, composer Daniel Powers is currently serving as composer in residence with the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra and has recently celebrated the release of a new CD dedicated to his songs and instrumental works.
And of course you can still listen online. (http://www.indiana.edu/~wfiu/listen.htm) Hope you all enjoy it. :)

Congratulations Dan!
Being a composer in residence with a Symphony is quite an honor. Is this very demanding and do you have the orchestra at your disposal?
It's great to be able to listen online to WFIU, public radio from Indiana University. I am listing to Welch harp music there now. And I'm looking forward to tuning in to hear your works.
All the best,
Gary Garritan

I wish. :) It's more like they have me at theirs. I get to do some composing now and then, but mainly I do arranging projects. I did a lot of Christmas music over the years, and they've just asked me to arrange a medley of Indiana songs for their late summer park concert. Hey, a gig's a gig!

One thing I've wondered about, though... does it get a little crowded?
David.
