How to split MIDI type 0 to Type 1

I have a corrupted cpr cubase file and only mid type-0 version is left... :(

Any1 have a clue how to split by midi channels from a single track containing all the notes of all channles to differenct channels ???

Don't have Cubase but it's generally under the "save as" menu options. Save as type 1 and reload.

That's correct, but you have to click on 'Okay' to save it before finally a
popup asks for the format.
It would be more convenient to show this option already in the 'Save As'
box...
