Could someone please enlighten me as to which kind of Pi this is? I don't have a living clue.

It's the one with the chips. You know, Pi and Chips free? There's Pi and chips, but free? :D

Doesn't matter as long as it calculates. ;) :D

It's also Purim, often celebrated by eating pie!

For those who are counting calories and need to read about pi and rabbinical tradition to keep their minds off their desire to eat pie, or for those who are eating pie by themselves, and might as well read something about pi,

You forgot the 26 sec. 3/14 - 1:59:26. Precision is a virtue. Except if you're a viola player, of course. In that case it's a word from a foreign language. :p :n:

You forgot the milliseconds and such... 3/14 1:59.265358979323 .... eh, I could cheat and look it up somewhere, but that's all I remember.

Years ago when I was in middle school there was a contest on pi day to see who could memorize the most digits of pi. I rambled off about 100 digits and won!

Happy pi day to all!

And remember, just because it's not rational doesn't mean it's not precise. ;)

Oh, we forgot to wish happy birthday to Einstein, who was born on pi day... um... too late now!

Let's not forgot what he said : "The most incomprehensible thing about the world is that it is comprehensible."

It never fails to quote Einstein when you want to feel smart... it's like wearing glasses.

It's too late now - I never heard of Pi Day. In retrospect, how obvious, but in my day <he mutters in his beard> Pi only had 2 digits - we just had to work with 3.1 . (That was because in those days, computers didn't have busses. The 1s and 0s had to walk from RAM to the CPU... The value of Pi to the second digit was so far off, if you looked at our circles, it became obvious why Pi are squared.

Sorry, I'm still a bit irrational from celebrating Pi Day. I even composed something I call "A Piece of Pi." It's in 3.14159/4 (my computer is faster now that I use Digital Piformer.)

OK, I'll stop now.
