Happy Saint Patrick's Day to all our Irish friends.
We all have a Wee Bit O' Irish in us on this day.
May these Irish Blessings bring an Irish smile across the miles ta ye all:
May you live to be a hundred years,
With one extra year to repent.

May your blessings outnumber
The shamrocks that grow,
And may trouble avoid you
Wherever you go.

May luck be our companion
May friends stand by our side
May history remind us all
Of Ireland's faith and pride.
May God bless us with happiness
May love and faith abide.

When Irish eyes are smiling,
Sure it's like a morning spring.
You can hear the angels sing
When Irish hearts are happy
All the world seems bright and gay
And when Irish eyes are smiling
Sure, they steal your heart away.

Dance as if no one were watching,
Sing as if no one were listening,
And live everyday as if it were your last.

Feel free to add your Irish Blessing below and may the luck of the Irish be with you!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
May The Lord Rise To Meet You
May The Wind Be Always At Your Back
May A Warm Sun Shine On Your Face
And A Soft Rain Fall On Your Fields
And Until We Meet Again
May The Lord Hold You In The Palm Of His Hand...
Amen

St. Patrick was a gentleman, who thru strategy and stealth
Drove all the snakes from Ireland, Here's a toasting his health
But not too many lest you lose yourself and then
You forget the good St. Patrick and see those snakes again
Happy St Patrick's Day!!!

Well, it's not really irish...
but I believe it is in the same kind of spirit...
(quoting B Dylan):
May God bless and keep you always,
may your wishes all come true...
and may you stay forever young.

peace to you all /engson
May God bless and keep you always,
May your wishes all come true,
May you always do for others
And let others do for you.
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung,
May you stay forever young,
Forever young, forever young,
May you stay forever young.
May you grow up to be righteous,
May you grow up to be true,
May you always know the truth
And see the lights surrounding you.
May you always be courageous,
Stand upright and be strong,
May you stay forever young,
Forever young, forever young,
May you stay forever young.
May your hands always be busy,
May your feet always be swift,
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift.
May your heart always be joyful,
May your song always be sung,
May you stay forever young,
Forever young, forever young,
May you stay forever young.

   Well, I hate to throw some cold Guinness on this Irish lovefest, but you have all ignored a day that dwarfs St. Patrick's in significance and coolness....it comes from the BETTER side of Cardigan Bay
ST. DAVID'S DAY (DYDD DEWI SANT) WAS MARCH FIRST!!!!!!!
This from a bunch o'websites...
If you were lucky enough to be in Wales on March the first, you would find the country in a festive mood. Every self-respecting man, woman and child would be celebrating St. David's Day in one way or another. But who was St. David, and why is he so important to the Welsh?
Well, Saint David, or Dewi Sant, as he is known in the Welsh language, is the patron saint of Wales. He was a Celtic monk, abbot and bishop, who lived in the sixth century. During his life, he was the archbishop of Wales, and he was one of many early saints who helped to spread Christianity among the pagan Celtic tribes of western Britain.
Dewi is sometimes known, in Welsh, as 'Dewi Ddyfrwr' (David the Water Drinker) and, indeed, water was an important part of his life - he is said to have drunk nothing else. Sometimes, as a self-imposed penance, he would stand up to his neck in a lake of cold water, reciting Scripture. Little wonder, then, that some authors have seen Dewi as an early Puritan!
================================================== ==
So: you Irish and pseudo-Irish have the WRONG guy, the WRONG plant, the WRONG creature, and the WRONG drink.
THE CHOICE, FRIENDS, IS YOURS:
Snake Charmer St. Patrick or St. David the Evangelizer?
Sissified Irish shamrocks or POTENT WELSH LEEKS?
Limp-wristed lisping Irish Leprechauns or MIGHTY WELSH DRAGONS?
Guinness or Water? well, 3 out of 4 ain't bad
In the name of all that is good and Welsh, I declare out loud:
CYMRU AM BYTH!!!
Jim
