Oh my gosh!! :o

I'm at work. Just finished charting on my happy 5 patients (working on the med/surg floor. The ICU where I normally work has no patients). Right now, I have a little spare time to visit a few of my favorite web site and what do I find!!!???!!!

I am very much a middle-aged 46 year old. It is 4:40 AM, EST, so I am actually 46 years and 10 + minutes old!!! LOL!

Working on my birthday. . . . . as usual. . . . :o

Want to share with you my birthday present that my ever loving wife gave me. We are now the proud "parents" of two 50% Lhasa Apso/50% Husky mixed "children" (dogs)!!! Both are brothers from the same parents, born a year apart. The three year old is named "CODA"! (Got to love that child! :D) and the two year old is named "Benji". Their mother is the Lhasa Apso.

Ummmmm. . . . OUCH!!! :eek:

They're GREAT additions to our family!! :D

All we have to do is teach them not to poop on our floors or scratch up the front door frame.

Which they've done already.

And they've only been in our home as offical family members since 7:00 PM, EST, last night. Since I received the news about the poop and the scratched door frame, I've called my wife from work a few times and make sure she and our "children" are O. K.

Our "children" are still alive. . . .

For now. . .

Actually, she (and I) our really happy to have these two new and lively additions to our family. :D

Can't wait to go home in a few hours and start celebrating my birthday with my new family members!! :D
