Adding individual verb on each MIDI track

I\'m using GS, Cubase VST and SB live!
To properly locate each instrument within the stage what we actually need is the possibility to add different amount of verb to the different tracks. This was easily accomplished in real time on the S 1000, which had an effect send/return path for each instrument. Any suggestion for a hardw/softw workaround for the GS ?

The only way we could do this was to record each track seperately to vst. Then use the effects from within Vst.

I\'ve heard of the possiblity of doing this with Vegas pro by sonic foundry. We\'ll have to get it to test it out.
