Please help!

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. First of all, I don't have a keyboard yet. I'm attempting to operate with my sequencer alone.

When I try to play a midi file, none of the notes sustain. I only get short staccato attacks. I've tried keyswitching....I just don't know what I'm doing.

Even without fancy articulation, shouldn't I be able to hear a midi file played with its intended note durations?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Take a look to my tutorial:

It shows how to operate the stradi from a MIDI file in the sequencer, without any keyboard (even if a keyboard is anyway recommended for testing and practice).

The midi file came in handy and I can't wait to devour the tutorial.
