soundcard advice

I want to upgrade the sound card on my computer.I have GSLE and Cakewalk Home Studio 9.I used the only open PCI slot for the SCSI card for my CD-R.Are there any decent soundcards that fit in an ISA slot.FOR example what is AWE64 and how would it work for GS.

With GigaStudio/Sampler the AWE 64 gold works very well.
With P II 400 265MB about 100 Voices!
You need faster IDE drives with 7200 rpm!
