question about sonar and GPO.

Should I install sonar before GPO. In one of the tuorials on this site. the outline was Sonar, GPo. For some reason when I use sonar I can't get any sound out after following the tutorial. I'm wondering if I should insatll SOnar before GPO.

I installed SONAR after GPO, and I didn't have any problems. As long as the PersonalOrchestraVST.dll makes it to a folder you specify as a vst plugins folder, it should work.

Installing Sonar beforehand will give you a nice vstplugins folder which the GPO installer will detect and into which it will deposit the PersonalOrchestraVST.dll

I happened to have the bundled cubasis sitting on my system before sonar, and so my PersonalOrchestraVST.dll is happy as a clam sitting in C:\Program Files\Steinberg\...\vstplugins and running in C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Sonar.
