Free Javanese Gamelan

A while ago I took the well-known samples of a Javanese Gamelan, which can be found at http://www.marsudiraras.org/gamelan/ , cleaned them up, used some noise reduction, and built Kontakt 2 instruments out of them.

Now I've discovered free file sharing I thought I would post them for everyone. I think this is OK, since the samples are distributed under the Creative Commons License, which says anyone can redistribute them (and work based on them) so long as I point you to the original source. I used these instruments to realise some of my pupils' exam compositions in May, and they worked incredibly well in a mix.

I downloaded these samples months ago and intended to create a Kontakt library of my own, but I never got around to it. Now I don't have to!
