Firefox has crashed a couple of times in the past few days when I'm on this site and this hasn't happened before. Not sure what it is but suspect a javascript issue.

Thats right check your cookies they maybe corrupt or you browsers cache may have a problem. This seems to be the culprit most of the time. Clearing the cookies or browser cache may solve the issue.:)

I'm using Firefox (Mac) with no problems whatsoever.

I just reset Safari and it did it again. Maybe it has something to do with my system drive being full, - only 150meg of space left ( Sampletek downloads eating up my hard drive)!

That could be the problem.:)

Firefox latest version 1.5.0.4 just crashed again when clicking on the link to this thread. Twice now in the last hour and only on this site. Plenty of disc space, plenty of ram. Strange indeed. I'll try to get a debug next time it happens. I'm using multiple tabs but that didn't seem to be a problem in the past.

Well,....on one computer that hasn't had the drive wiped in a year or so, Firefox 1.5.0.4 will regularly crash or lock up the CPU at 100% untill its closed.

On a computer with a new OS, there have been no lock ups at all. Go figure.

It also seems to me that launching Firefox takes 2-3 times as long as it use to, regardless of the computer.

I wonder if the updated code has over the last year, been rushed along since its significant rise in popularity, making it a little bit more sluggish.

Anyone else seeing this?

I'm not the only one then.

It seems that the site may be buggy. Although I am not using Firefox, and have pop-ups blocked, it seems that there is one pop-up that repeatedly is crashing my system anyway. I get the message that the pop-up is blocked, followed by another message that the program is not responding and . . . crash.

I keep having crashes with IE 6 - I get an error message with regards to flash.osc, or something. Not sure if I have the latest flash plug, tho

I've rebooted and this site is still giving me problems with Firefox. I'm just going to have to stay away for awhile until things are fixed. Last time, it just froze my browser.

Same here. I think there's a bad banner, Mark...I can't tell which one because it crashes before the banner displays, but it's in flash.osc, just like Riff's...

IE6

thought so.:) most likely a firewall/security setting and a banner.

Does this happen only in the sample libraries section for you?
