KONTAKT demo loaded and timed out immediately

So I downloaded the pc demo of KONTAKT2. I installed only the vst version. I ran SONAR's vst finder installer program. I open SONAR. KONTAKT2 is not there. This time I install everything. DXi is present in my menu but when I attempt to load it, I immediately receive a window telling me my demo time has expired.

Just for fun I did a restore and reinstall, but with the same result.

What went wrong and how can I fix it so I can check out this program before I buy it?
