im totally knocked out by this software. the most amazing thing is the wonderful smooth portamento. Now, are there any plans to do a violin section version? then viola, cello... *faints*

Jimmy,
The next release will be the Stradivari 2.0 with the new Kontakt 2 Player. This till have the "classic" version that's in version 1,07 plus a "Lyrical" version which has a warmer tone.
The Gofriller Cello is in the later stages of development and is expected to be released soon. This is expected to be followed by a Pollata Viola, and Amati Bass and a Guarneri del Jesu Violin. We'll announce our intentions regarding string sections in due course.

I'm just upgrading my Mac G5 to Tiger and adding 1 gig of memory just so that I can run Kontakt 2.1 for this very reason. There's dedication. Really looking forward to both the Strad and the cello.
Go Gary..

Gary,
Will the Stradivari 2.0 be a free update to version 1 users? If not, will there be a grace period for us who either very recently bought version 1, or (like me) is just about to? Or, will 2.0 be priced higher in view of the two included versions?
Bottom line: should I maintain my firm grip on my restless VISA card until version 2.0 is released? ;-)
Best regards,
Joey
