ARUUUGH!

I would love to take advantage of Sonar\'s
LIVE INPUT MONITORING but, to really let this function perform, M Audio 2496 needs
to have a driver upgrade too WDM.

Works Perefectly!

But, Gstudio gives (code 6000 error: No GSIF
card found)

Here is M Audio\'s report:

With WDM drivers it is not possible to support the old VxD interface used by
GigasamplerLE. Therefore Nemesys has released an updated driver kit for use
with WDM drivers. It implements a new sys-style driver interface which will
be usable under W2k. But to support the new interface, Gigastudio itself had
to be modified. This modified version is what you get as ver 2.2 of
Gigastudio.

I am using version 2.2 of Gstudio96. This
does not work. Sonar will rock but giga wont
even open http://www.northernsounds.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/frown.gif

Any feedback on this?

Thanks
Francis

Ok, I\'m confused by this:

Updated driver kit? As far as I can see there isn\'t anything about this in the 2.2 readme, and GSt is just as WDM-unaware as ever. If there\'s supposed to be a way to get GSt to play with WDM drivers, I\'m sure a lot of people would like to know about it!

I agree. I read the M Audio report and thought ...oh, cool!

Something is wrong in this report!!

Does Nemesys plan on fixing so we can use drivers?
