My wife and I are happy to announce the arrival of our second son, Andrew!

9 pounds, 9 ounces (on the high side) and happy as a clam! We're just pleased as punch and his older brother Charlie (2-3/4yrs) is ecstatic! Pictures will be posted very soon....

...now where's my GPO disks for the next picture?

Babies and children are a delight! If his lung power matches his size, you are going to get a big surprise when he starts crying at night!! My daughter was 10 1/2 pounds, as was I, and when she cried, she could be heard for about 2 blocks. Don't count on his present size being an indicator of adult size. My grandmother always said to me, "My land, Dickie, aren't you ever going to grow? " Well, no, Grandma, I never did get very tall, shorter than my father, who was shorter than his father.

Congrats!

I just love it when new babys are born! I have 2 of my own ;) Just wait 'till Andrew grows at 1 year. Then the real fight between the two beginins... And as long as it is sort of peaceful, there's no need for interfering, which gives you peace of mind (they actually start spending time together). On the other hand if things get tough, you need twice the ammount of time to calm things down :D

Just a bit of advice I guess :D
