Here is a short 17 second demo of the new Strad playing something a bit contemporary and modern:

Neat demo, I'm psyched for the Strad 2.0 to arrive...

By the way there's a glitch in the link, it should be

Excellent demo, Gary. Your Strad is really a great sampled instrument.

Yes. When I first clicked on your link Gary, I received an "ERROR NOTICE."

OMG!

Refering to the strad thread for a question (which will also post here):

In order to get the full potential of Strad 2, do I need keyboard? Cause I don't have keyboards in my *studio* (bedroom rather :S).

IF not I will buy today (tonight for the US citizens please)

It is good to have a keyboard, but a sequencer will do. I will admit that It was done with notation first without the strad and with just GPO finale edition patches. So there is much hope for non keyboard owners if you have a sequencer since you can tweak it to your own "liking", though you will miss out on the fun of playing the strad, which is a complete joy by itself...

Thanks for the comments. Maybe longer in the future leaf. For now it is as it is :n:

When you do get it, I hope you have more luck than me. I received it today, but, alas, there is no serial number, and without a serial number no go, no show. Bummer! :(
