Illegal Operation error on install-Gigasampler

Every time I try and install I get an illegal operation error - page fault at MCF42.dll during disk drive testing... always the same error... have installed lastest version of MCF42 that I can find... no difference... any ideas

You probably have an Echo card with the 5.0 or 5.01 driver. You can either disable direct sound in the device manager or you can download the GigaSampler 1.61 beta that fixes this annoyance.
Let us know if this is the case.
If not, give us a call and we can walk you through a way to get the compatible mfc42.dll reinstalled.
