Hi y'all,

Just wanted to say hi! and see what y'all think of a piece I just drummed up over the last few weeks. I am using a (very affordable) notation program called Harmony Assistant by Myriad Software, along with the fabulous Garritan Jazz and Big Band Library for the first time.

The song is a silly tune I wrote way back in 1976, but never had the tools (till now) to be able to render it musically. But now thanks to Mr. Garritan's wonderful JABB library, my silliness can come to fruition! (Perdition? ~| )

Yes, it is extremely silly, but I was young and foolish then (now I'm old and foolish ;) ). I hope ya don't take offense to my craziness, it's meant in the very best of emotions (faith + humor).

Anywho, here it be:

Just go to the bottom of the page, next to where it says "Crazy Stuff", and right click "Resurrection Rock" to download my little ditty.

Thanks for listening! And thank you Mr. Garritan!!

Funny! Welcome new person. That's a silly tune alright. Did you also do the others on the page? I love the smooth jazz easy listening style. My favorites are
Yahweh, Only One Father, Jolie Silhouette, & To Tweety from Sylvester, but liked all of them. The ones on the far right column wouldn't come on though, somethings not working with those.

Hi Leaf!

Thank you so much for your kind words, and for listening to my stuff. :)
The site server just went down about a half hour ago, that's probably why some of the links stopped working. In fact, I can't get to it at all right now, eeks! :wow:

Anywho, thanks so much! I'll let ya know when it comes back online...

Muffit,

You sure know how to make a nice entrance to a forum.:)

What a fun and novel song! It's a very catchy tune that sticks in your mind. I was tempted to slow down the recording to hear your real voice.

I enjoyed visiting your website and hearing some of your other songs. And thanks for the mentions on your site.

I appreciate your posting "Resurrection Rock".

All the best,

Gary Garritan

PS: Only a nut would attract those chipmunks. :D

Muffet.

The right side is working now. :hp: Those four get two big thumbs up, Lions and Unicorns very cool, and adding Take Me Back to Narnia to my favorites.

David

PS your bear gif is dancing in time to Take Me Back to Narnia.:)

What a hoot! You most assuredly do a highly
laudable (and laughable) chipmunk, my friend.

A warm welcome, Muffit!

Best,
