Has anyone heard anything about a Windows 2000/XP drivers for the Frontier Wavecenter/PCI sound card?

It\'s about time they release one, wouldn\'t you say?

It\'s been available for a long time. Though still called a beta (6a), it\'s stable and workd well.

For the record: I am a Mac person, and Windows novice!

I seem to have missed out on quite a few things...

I run GigaStudio 96 (version 2.2.42) on a dedicated PC with Windows 98 SE.

The only driver I ever installed for my WaveCenter/PCI card was \"Windows Driver (Win 95/98/ME) version 2.09\" found on http://www.frontierdesign.com/pr_WCPCI_drivers.htm (\"http://www.frontierdesign.com/pr_WCPCI_drivers.htm\")

I am planning on updating to Windows 2000 and GigaStudio 2.5.

Is the Beta 6 driver replacing the one I\'ve been using? If so, no wonder I\'ve had so much trouble with my setup! (He! he!)

Hey Malo,

If you\'re happy with you giga system, you might want to leave it be for now. At this point, you have nothing to gain (and everything to lose) by changing your OS

Hi, Bill!

I guess you\'re right! I was really just eager to see if I could minimize the latency problem when playing the GigaPiano.

Could the latency problem be fixed by updating the sound card driver, but keeping Win 98SE?
