No headphone jack on WaveCenter PCI?

The WaveCenter has no AD/DA converters. You need to use it in conduction with another sound card, mixer or digital amp.

Besides the ADAT, it has S\\PDIF out, which you could route to S\\PDIF in of another soundcard.

I\'m confused: if there are no analog outs on the WaveCenter PCI, how do you listen to what you\'re playing?

Is the card only meant for transfering data, or do you have to have whatever the optical out is connected to turned on hear input?
