Clicks on Cubase

Hi. Yesterday night I had a recording session in which everything was fine.

After the session I installed Garritan Stradivarius and today while trying to record I had a lot of audio clicks. After that I un-installed GS, restarted my computer and everything was OK again.

The project which I tried to record today DID NOT HAVE any instance of Garritan Stradivarius in it, so I doubt it if this is the reason for the problem.

My question: Can GS have ANY effect on Cubase when it is not loaded? (installed, but not a part of a project)

In a word - no.

By the way - the typical acronym you'll see for the Strad is SSV (e.g. "Stradivari Solo Violin"). "GS" usually translates to "GigaStudio".
