Tomorrow's my birthday, so I've decided to draw three lucky winners from posters in this thread that will recieve a 49% (guess my age....) discount on products from SampleTekk.
I'll draw the winners within 48 hours.

Now, isn't this a cheap way of getting a lot of congratulations.....:|:

UPDATE!
After a good dinner and a couple of glasses of wine, (no it's not my birthday today, it's tomorrow), I feel generosity spreading! (Could be the wine.....), so I've decided to simply offer a 49% discount to ALL during my birthday, starting tomorrow, (Swedish time), and lasting for 24 hours.

Happy Birthday Worra!! In response to this very cheap way of getting congratulations I was going to arrange 'Happy Birthday' using just Sampletekk samples, as an even cheaper way of brown-nosing. But I'm afraid I'm at school at the moment, away from my studio.

Hope you have a great day though.

Tomorrow's my birthday...49% (guess my age....)

Do you realize that the only time in our lives when we like to get old is when we're kids? If you're less than 10 years old, you're so excited about aging that you think in fractions.

"How old are you?" "I'm four and a half!" You're never thirty-six and a half. You're four and a half, going on five! That's the key.

You get into your teens, now they can't hold you back. You jump to the next number, or even a few ahead.

"How old are you?" "I'm gonna be 16!" You could be 13, but hey, you're gonna be 16! And then the greatest day of your life . . you become 21. Even the words sound like a ceremony . . . YOU BECOME 21. YESSSS!!!

But then you turn 30. Oooohh, what happened there? Makes you sound like bad milk! He TURNED; we had to throw him out. There's no fun now, you're Just a sour-dumpling. What's wrong? What's changed?

You BECOME 21, you TURN 30, then you're PUSHING 40. Whoa! Put on the brakes, it's all slipping away. Before you know it, you REACH 50

and your dreams are gone.

But wait!!! You MAKE it to 60. You didn't think you would!

So you BECOME 21, TURN 30, PUSH 40, REACH 50 and MAKE it to 60.

You've built up so much speed that you HIT 70! After that it's a day-by-day thing; you HIT Wednesday!

You get into your 80s and every day is a complete cycle; you HIT lunch; you TURN 4:30; you REACH bedtime. And it doesn't end there. Into the 90s, you start going backwards; "I Was JUST 92."

Then a strange thing happens. If you make it over 100, you become a little kid again. "I'm 100 and a half!"

Worra, may you make it to a healthy 100 and a half!!:D

Ivan P

You could get "the Godfather" video game to go with your Godfather box set, I think I seen this game comes out today. Video games either make you feel young, or they make you feel old. It depends on if you have a kid sitting there more than willing to beat the tar out of you like I do. "Bring it on! son:samurai: your dirty old man grew up on video games!":D

I was planning on waiting until your 100th birthday to get a *really* good discount, but hey -- 49% is not bad either! Consider me entered.

So, I am curious. I someone had the PMI Old Lady and Emperor, the Vintaudio C7 and uprights, and the pianos with Kontakt 2 and GPO, what would be the best inexpensive Worra piano to pick up (I guess it should take advantage of Kontakt 2 features, huh?).

There are two emails, one from the shopping cart and one from sampletekk. Be aware that the email from sampletekk may get routed to your junk mail folder if you have any filters on.

I waited for hours, refreshing my email every 5min only to find out that it was sitting in my junk mail the whole time :)

I received an e-mail immediately after purchasing the WG... but it had no download link in it.The download link looks very generic. It doesn't have your code in the URL.

Click on the generic link, input your e-mail address and order number, and you will get access to the files.

Hope it helps a bit!

Thanks for the suggestion. I checked out UnRarX. Seems to be an OSX application. I am using a PC.

Too complicated for me.

Worra,

Should the Black Grand Close take so much memory, or did I screw something up in putting it all together?

Where as Emperor or any of the PMI's, or Steinway B, or GigaPiano II, or Steiny D, or any other piano I own use very little memory...maybe 20%...if I load one of the Black Grand instruments with nothing else...we;re talking 44% memory usage?

Is that right?

Since the sampler load a part of each sample into RAM, the more samples = more memory used.
Black Grand are one of the largest sampled pianos in the world, so it uses a lot of memory.

I was suffering from moments of web retardedness.

This instrument's a beast when it's loaded. I didn't realize it was that huge. What's really cool is the GS3 is also a multi format download. I also have VSampler and can use the Halion and Kontakt versions as well.
