Does the Kornel Script remove need for convolution??

I am a bit confused as to WHAT exactly the Kornel script handels...does it also function in the same way that gigapulse does? with the pedal up/pedal down impulse responses?

if you play stacatto notes...does the Kornel script add anything??

I use the script to replace pedal down convolution. It does not intend to fully replace all convolution effects, staccato and release may still be done with convolution at the same time.
I suggest you look at the Nice Steinway ( coming soon ), that is a reference implementation how the script and convolution will work together on pedal up samples only !
